Security and ownership

Your data and your system stay yours.

What happens to your data, who owns what, and how contracts, payments, and support work. Plain answers, with nothing claimed that we cannot back up.
  1. 01

Who owns the system after delivery?

You do. Ownership of the system we build for you, including the intellectual property in the work made for you, transfers to you when you have paid for it. There is no lock-in: we hand over the system, access, and documentation, so you can run it yourself or move to another provider.
  2. 02

    Who owns my data?

You do. Client data remains the client’s property at all times. We process it only to deliver the agreed work, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
  3. 03

    How is access controlled?

Who can see a record, who can change it, and who approves the step that matters are designed with the workflow, before any code. The systems we have built enforce roles on the server, not just in the interface, and keep an audit log of changes.
  4. 04

    Where is my data stored?

The hosting provider and region are chosen with you and written into the scope for each project. The cost of production infrastructure is paid by you directly to the provider.
  5. 05

    What about backups and recovery?

Backup and recovery arrangements are agreed per project and written into the scope, so you know what is backed up and how it is restored.
  6. 06

    How do contracts work?

Every engagement has a simple written scope of work: what is built, what is not, the price, and how changes are handled. Nothing starts until you have approved it.
  7. 07

    How is personal data handled?

Our Privacy Policy covers GDPR and UK GDPR basics, including your rights to access, correct, and delete your data. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

How do payments work?

Invoices are in US dollars, or in pounds sterling on request. The $99 audit is credited toward any build. Payment terms are set out in the written scope.

What happens if something breaks?

Tell us and we fix faults in the systems we built. The optional maintenance plan (from $75 a month) is meant to cover:

  • Fixing faults in the systems we built
  • Small adjustments to rules, fields, and messages
  • Keeping integrations working when a connected tool changes

What do we not claim?

We do not claim security certifications, compliance badges, or uptime guarantees on this site. If a project needs something specific, such as a particular hosting region or a security questionnaire, we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot commit to before you sign the scope. Read the full Privacy Policy and Terms.

Next step

Start with one workflow.

The Workflow Audit is a fixed-price session on one workflow: where it stalls, what a system could own, and what should stay human.
